TERMS OF SERVICE
WAIVER, TERMS & CONDITIONS
USE OF EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
I acknowledge that upon arrival I am under the service of the golf course and agree to abide by all safety guidelines and regulations according to each golf course while occupying the indoor facilities and entirety of outdoor property including clubhouse, pro shop, golf course, practice greens, driving range, walkways, and parking lot.
I acknowledge that I am liable and responsible for my actions on golf course property as well as use of push carts and power carts while they are in my possession, including pick up, loading and unloading clubs in the parking lot, during game play, and drop off. I acknowledge that I am fully accountable for my actions in and surrounding the golf cart and assume personal and financial liability for any injuries to self or others and any damages to the push or power cart during my possession.
Course Conduct: I agree to adhere to the health and safety instructions of the golf course relating to conduct, physical distancing, use of equipment, and use of facilities.
Single use for Power Carts: I understand that if cart use is already provided in a safe and suitable manner by the golf course, but still require a single cart or special arrangement, single cart use or requests may be subject to an additional fee by the golf course.
Events & Activities: I understand that any events or activities provided by WGN will be subject to the above compliances and that events and activities will only be provided in a safe and healthy manner. I acknowledge that WGN organizes activities with the collaboration of golf courses and therefore are subject to the changes made by the facilities. Therefore, I understand there may be changes or restrictions to events or league activities, clinics and lessons which may cause advanced or last-minute changes in the activity date, activity start time, activity length, cancelation or postponement of activity, manner of activity, or may not be executed in the same approach as previous years or according to expectations pre-COVID. WGN strives to organize events inclusive of everyone and does not discriminate on vax status. Therefore to ensure the participation of all players, formal events will be organized in a manner inclusive of all players and may be strictly outdoor and weather dependent.
Withdrawing Participation: (applies according to the health orders which are in effect for a given time) If I experience symptoms that of fever, fatigue, difficulty in breathing, or dry cough or exhibiting any other symptoms relating to COVID-19 or any communicable disease, I agree to withdraw my participation with the Women’s Golf Network for a period of 10 days or until all symptoms subside, whichever is greater.
I agree to withdraw my participation of any WGN activity if I, or any member(s) of my household, have traveled by sea or by air, internationally or provincially, or if I, or any member(s) of my household, are diagnosed to be infected of COVID-19 virus within the previous 14 days of said activity.
I am aware of the existence of the risk on my physical attendance to the golf venues and my participation to the activity of league, lessons, and activities that may cause injury or illness such as, but not limited to Influenza, MRSA, or COVID-19 that may lead to paralysis or death.
Following the pronouncements, the participant acknowledges the following: I am fully and personally responsible for my own safety and actions within my participation and I recognize that I may be, in any case, at risk of contracting COVID-19. With full knowledge of the risks involved, I hereby release, waive, discharge The Women’s Golf Network and all participating Golf Courses and Providers, its board, officers, independent contractors, affiliates, employees, representatives, successors, and assigns from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or death, that may be sustained by me related to COVID-19 while participating in any activity while in, on, or around the premises or while using the facilities that may lead to unintentional exposure or harm due to COVID-19. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Women’s Golf Network and their Partners, Venues, and Providers, from and against any and all costs, expenses, damages, lawsuits, and/or liabilities or claims arising whether directly or indirectly from or related to any and all claims made by or against any of the released party due to injury, loss, or death from or related to COVID-19.
GREEN FEES
I acknowledge that green fees are not included in the WGN league membership fee, and that they are collected upfront upon registering for each individual a tee time. I acknowledge that cancelation of tee times and green fee refunds are subject to the WGN cancelation policy.
INDEMNIFICATION
I acknowledge that this WGN League Membership Agreement serves as a liability release, pursuant to which I agree to indemnify and hold the Women’s Golf Network harmless against any and all claims of bodily injury, loss, or damage of property without limitation.
CANCELATIONS & REFUNDS
Membership: Membership cancelations are accepted with a refund provided up to 30 days after date of purchase, if the 30 days does not extend past April 15th, 2024. Refunds are provided less 15% admin/transaction fee. Refunds will not be provided after April 15th, 2024 regardless of purchase date, or for any reason. Memberships may not be put on hold or transfered to upcoming seasons.
Clinics: Golf Clinic cancelations are accepted, and a refund less 15% transaction fee is provided 7 days or more prior to the scheduled Clinic. Refunds will not be provided for cancelations within 6 days of the clinic start time.
Beginner Program / Group Lessons: Lesson cancelations are accepted and a refund less 15% transaction fee is provided up to 31 days prior to the scheduled lesson group. Cancelations within 15 to 30 days prior will receive a 50% refund. Refunds will not be provided for cancelations within 14 days of the first lesson. League membership may not be canceled independent of lessons. All refunds are subject to 15% transaction fee.
Green Fees: Tee time cancelations are accepted up until 72 hours prior to the scheduled tee time without penalty or loss. Green fees will be credited to your WGN account as a pass for future use with that specific golf course. At any time players may request a refund of the green fee pass to their account, applied as a dollar credit for use with any golf course green fee throughout the season. A Green fee refund to the credit card used for purchase may be requested and is provided less 7% transaction fee.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Tee Times:
Re-occurring [more than two times] tee time cancelations 48 to 72 hours of the tee time will result in a $20 cancelation fee, applied to late cancelations moving forward [third cancelation and proceeding]. Cancelations made within 48 hours of the tee time will result in probable loss of green fee. Re-occurring [more than two times] tee time cancelations within 48 hours of the tee time will result in loss of green fee, applied moving forward [third cancelation and proceeding]. Failure to show up will result in a loss of green fee.
Sunday Tee Times:
Cancelations within 48 to 72 hours of the tee time may result in a $50 cancelation fee. Cancelations made within 48 hours of the tee time will result in loss of green fee. Failure to show up will result in a loss of green fee.
Sunday Events:
Cancelations within 7 days of the event may result in a loss of fees. Cancelations 5 days prior or failure to show up will result in a loss of fees.
Rainchecks:
When unplayable due to weather, a paper rain check may be provided for players to use in the future at own leisure. Or, Rain Checks may be provided as a pass on players WGN accounts for future use with that specific golf course. Rain Checks are for use with WGN tee times only and are non-refundable and non-transferable. Should players still arrive at the course for their tee time on said day, if opted, Rain Checks can be provided as print outs for players to use at any time outside of WGN.
Any green fee passes remaining on players WGN account at end of season will be refunded back to the credit card used for purchase less 7% transaction fee. At any time players may request their green fee passes refunded to their WGN account, applied as a dollar credit for use with any golf course green fee throughout the season.
